Shackle locks (D-locks U-locks) offer a greatel level of protection compaired to wire locks, but do remember that you need to lock your bicycle to a fixed object, in cases where the shackle lock doesn't fit around a fence or lampost we suggest using a lock mate in conjuction with a shackle for ultimate security.
