Specialist Facilities and Support
Smart Bike WasherOur Smart Bike Washer uses bioremediation rather than aggressive solvents to safely clean and degrease drivetrain components. It is used as part of selected service packages to provide a thorough and environmentally considerate clean. | Tyre and Tube RecyclingUsed bicycle tyres and inner tubes are collected for responsible recycling through Velorim. A small recycling levy of 99p applies. This supports the collection and recycling process and is not operated for profit. |

Bronze Service — £60
Our Bronze Service covers the principal mechanical and safety-related areas of your bicycle.
- Brakes checked for wear, operation and adjustment.
- Disc brake pads removed where appropriate, inspected and cleaned.
- Gears adjusted and tuned.
- Chain and cassette checked for wear and reported.
- Both wheels checked and trued within serviceable tolerance.
- Accessible nuts, bolts, fixtures and components torque checked.
- Full safety check with advice on worn or faulty components.
- Drivetrain lubricated.
- Tyres checked and inflated to an appropriate pressure.
- Bike test ridden by the technician where practical and safe to do so.
Silver Service — £95
Our popular Silver Service includes everything in the Bronze Service, plus more extensive cleaning, inspection and adjustment.
- Drivetrain components removed, degreased and cleaned in our Smart Bike Washer.
- Wheel tension checked and wheels trued.
- Spokes replaced where required; replacement parts are charged separately.
- Appropriate components lubricated during reassembly.
- Frame and fork inspected for visible wear or damage.
- Bike receives a mini valet before collection.
Gold Service — £160
Our Gold Service is a comprehensive strip-down service and includes the applicable work contained within our Bronze and Silver packages.
- Major components removed, inspected and cleaned.
- Bottom bracket removed, inspected and cleaned where compatible.
- Serviceable hubs and axles removed, inspected and cleaned where applicable.
- Fork and headset removed, inspected and cleaned.
- Components refitted using appropriate grease and lubrication.
- Frame and fork inspected for visible wear or damage.
- Facing of the head tube, bottom bracket shell or disc mounts where required and appropriate.
- Bike receives a full valet before collection.
Parts are not included unless specifically stated. We will contact you for authorisation before fitting additional chargeable components or carrying out work outside the agreed service package. |
Electric Bike Servicing and RepairsOur workshop is equipped to complete mechanical servicing, fault investigation and electronic diagnostic work on many leading electric bike systems. An additional £30 eBike charge applies when an electric bike is booked for a Bronze, Silver or Gold Service. |
Where supported by the bicycle and drive system, the eBike service supplement can include:
- Connection to compatible diagnostic software.
- System and firmware update checks.
- Electronic fault-code investigation.
- Basic system health information.
- Printed diagnostic report where supported by the system.
