We are pleased to offer a 90 day online return policy on both bikes and accessories purchased online. All we ask is that the item is returned to us in an unused condition and with its original packaging.

  • We will refund postage costs on any faulty or damaged items but not if the item was incorrectly ordered.
  • Refunds will only be returned to the original purchaser using the original payment method — refunds usually take 3-4 working days, but it could be longer depending on your bank
  • If you have a damaged or faulty item we will send you out a replacement as soon as the returned item is received. Please note that if an item has been damaged through rider neglect, misuse or wear and tear , then it will not be covered by manufacturer’s warranty. We advise you to check the individual manufacturer’s warranty policy to see whether the specific problem or issue you are experiencing is covered.

The Reaction Hybrid Rookie takes all the race-inspired handling and performance of our adult Reaction bikes, and repackages it for keen junior riders. Powered by Bosch's third-generation Performance drive unit, there's plenty of juice to help your youngster keep up on longer family rides. Smooth-shifting, wide-ranging Shimano Deore 10-speed gears are easy to use, and they're backed by powerful Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes for safe stopping. There's a Suntour air suspension fork to help smooth the trail, and 2.25in tyres for grip and comfort. Just add a spirit of adventure, and go!

Frame description
We use the same technologies and frame construction techniques with the Reaction Hybrid Rookie as we do with the adult bikes that inspired it. For example, the gravity cast down tube and 1.5in head tube create a stiff backbone for a bike that, let's be honest, is going to be ridden with healthy enthusiasm. Internally routed cables keep gears shifting smoothly with minimal maintenance, and there's even provision for a simple upgrade to a dropper post for added confidence out on the trail.
